First HD3850 With GDDR4 Memory

The chaps over at expreview.com got hold of a rather interesting HD3850 card.

It's made by Unika, and it's unique in that it's the first HD3850 card with GDDR4 memory we've seen so far. It uses a slightly smaller PCB, designed and built by Triplex and a non reference Al-Cu cooler.

The core clock is bumped up to 700MHz, while the Hynix 0.8ns memory runs at 2200MHz, which is around 33 percent higher than the reference GDDR3 speed of 1660MHz.
