Walton Chaintech unveiled the first DDR3 1600MHz memory module that runs at 1.6V with 7-7-7-18 timings.
As Intel chipset X48 is soon to be released in the Q1, 2008, DDR3 1600 solution is becoming readily available for the new platform. Introduced as an upgrade version, Intel chipset X48 will offer the official support to DDR3 1600 and FSB1600 MHz. To accomplish this, Walton Chaintech has successfully developed APOGEE GT DDR3 1600 memory module which can be operated at 1.6V voltage.

While other brands of DDR3 1600 memory modules require at least 1.8V to 1.95V operating voltage, APOGEE GT DDR3 1600 memory module achieves 1600MHz speed at just 1.6V voltage. With lower memory voltage and better performance, this product takes full advantage of the capabilities of the upcoming motherboard on base of Intel X48 chipset.
APOGEE GT DDR3 1600 memory modules will be marketed in deluxe package of 2GB dual channel kit (1GBx2) with Cool It Smart heatsink system. Each module is 100% tested for quality assurance and compatibility, ensuring customers to enjoy an extreme user experience either for gaming or other multimedia applications with high computing needs.
