Ubisoft Announces Prince Of Persia (4) By End 2008

Ubisoft has announced that a new Prince of Persia is scheduled to release towards the end of 2008 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.

This new Prince of Persia marks the debut of the critically acclaimed franchise on next-generation consoles. Developed by Ubisoft’s award winning Montreal studio that brought you Assassin’s Creed™ and the same all-star team that created the previously acclaimed Prince of Persia® Sands of Time trilogy, Prince of Persia is opening a new chapter in the Prince of Persia universe, featuring a new breed of gameplay. The game is poised to rejuvenate the action-adventure genre in addition to introducing a brand-new illustrative art style.

Ubisoft will also release a Prince of Persia game specifically designed for the Nintendo DS™ system, featuring an entirely new storyline and new characters. More details to be unveiled in the future.

Assassin's Creed Pushed Back To 28th March

Yet another delay and this time its the launch of Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed as reported by Fudzilla.

Ubisoft has delayed Assassin's Creed for both Nintendo DS and PC, and the games are now set for launch on March 28th.

As you may know, Assassin's Creed was previously scheduled to launch in February for the DS version and in March for the PC version, but now we have more than two more months to wait for this game. The previous statement also means that users have two more months to fulfill the Ubisoft's high PC requirements for Assassin's Creed.

In addition to the Assassin's Creed delay, Ubisoft has also pushed the launch of Dark Messiah of Might & Magic Elements back one week, to 15th February. Ubisoft just keeps on delaying its titles.

Assassin's Creed Reminds POP

Does it reminds anything ??

Many of us would just say its the Prince of Persia.Believe me I also thought the same(I don't know what you would be guessing) but it is not the Prince.It is a upcoming action packed release entitled Assassin's Creed from the same maker "Ubisoft" which is ready to hit the gamer world on 13th November.

Truly speaking when I saw the trailer for the first time (posted below) I was amazed to see that the fighting techniques and many other modes are same as it was in the POP series.So I must say have a look on the trailer and post your valuable comments on what you think.

Prince Of Persia - New Chapter Added to The Series

The above are in-game screen shots from the forthcoming Prince of Persia 4/0/Ghosts of the Past, currently in development at Ubisoft Montreal.

According to a blog named "Surfer Girl Reviews Star Wars" which claims that a prequel of the popular series of Prince of Persia rumoured Prince of Persia 4 is being prepped to ship in the second half of 2008 for the 360, Wii, PC, and PlayStation 3, and will be subtitled "Ghosts of the Past".It will apparently be the first in a trilogy set before Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, and will forgo "the dark edginess of the last two titles in favor a fantastical cross between The Sands of Time, Ico, and Zelda," according to the blog.
